Summer Programs
When school is out our Summer Camp Programs begin. We offer 5 weeks of summer camp for Rising Kindergartners – Rising 6th grade during June and July. Summer camp offers a lot of fun activities for children to participate in like basketball, soccer, dance, crafts, cooking, baseball, free time, group games, water fun, special video day and much more. We also incorporate Vacation Bible School as part of our Summer Camp along with the church. At camps, we provide a morning snack as well as an afternoon snack. We maintain low staff to child ratios during camps. Participants in camp remain on campus all day. We do not transport any child away from camp.
Summer Camp 2015
Week 1: June 15-19
Chestnut Ridge Camp
Open to Rising 1st grade – Middle School
Travel to Camp Chestnut Ridge for camp this week. Transportation will be provided. There is a separate brochure full of information on Chestnut Ridge. You must register with Chestnut Ridge – but we will provide before and after camp care for $10 each day. We will have camp here for the rising Kindergartners.
Week 2: June 22-26
Hometown Nazareth – Where Jesus was a kid
Kids will be transported back to Nazareth where they'll learn firsthand what it was like when Jesus was a kid. They will travel in Tribes to meet Mary, have cool science projects, go to Fun & Games and visit the Marketplace for snacks and crafts.
Week 3: June 29-2 (Closed Friday, July 3rd)
Celebrate America!
Lots of Red, White and Blue activities! We will have our own special 4th of July celebration!
Week 4: July 6-10
Splish! Splash! Water Week
Bring your swimsuits and sunscreen! We will play outdoor water games all week! And Friday we will celebrate with a HUGE water slide.
Week 5: July 13-17
Music and Drama Week
"What's Up Zak? A Musical Encounter with Jesus" by Open Heart Musicals. Funny, lively songs introduce a town bustling to prepare for a visit from a V.I.P.: Very Important Prophet. The Mayor of Jericho decides to throw a parade to welcome Jesus. But the people who need love the most, the lowly beggars and the tax collectors, are not invited to the party. A wonderful story for people of all ages. There will be lots of opportunity to shine with lots of fun acting and singing roles! Look for more info regarding auditions!
